To those who don't know - sorry to be gone so long, but my husband has been very sick for the last week, beginning the Friday before last. We have been to the ER twice, the walk in twice, and to his family doctor twice, had tests, fluids, drugs, cranial and cervical CTs, and a spinal tap. On Thursday, he was finally diagnosed with viral meningitis. He has been very ill and in a lot of pain. He is recuperating slowly, but it's still in the wait-and-see stage. The only way he gets some relief is by lying flat on his back, so it's two or three hours down, and ten minutes up. I am working on very little sleep and not making much sense at the moment, but will post when we get more news, hopefully better.
Google says viral meningitis passes within a week to ten days, so he should be feeling better soon. The only question left is whether he will need the blood patch for his leaky spinal tap, which is the reason for the continuing head pain. Hopefully tomorrow will tell.
Blessings to all of you, and I'm praying that he gets through this quickly and that I do not get sick as well. Since they diagnosed late, I've been exposed too.
